Severe storm in west Ukraine

Five days of storms have flooded over 40,000 houses, damaged roads and 561 bridges, washed of highways, and cut electricity in five western regions (the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Zakarpattya, and Ternopil Oblasts).
More than 8,000 people have been evacuated. .

Summercamp

All children from Friends House left for summercamp, to Lazurnaja- Crimea.
During the whole week the children packed and repacked their bags many times. Finally the day came, when they ,and they all run to the bus, who took them from Piski to Kiev.
The first sandwiches were eaten already in the bus , the way to Kiev. In Kiev the children swapped from the buss to the train taking them to Crimea. Next morning they arrived to Cherson, where the buss was waiting to take them to the final destination Lazurna. After a real good breakfast the children quickly run out to enjoy the waves of Black sea.
Life is good, the summercamp has started.

Child protection day
The travel agent, Ide Tours paid for a journey to Kiev for the children. The children from Friend's house took part in the march for Child Protection day. Many children's groups came from Ukraine, Belarus and other places. There were very fine performances. After the performances the children could eat as much ice cream as they wanted.
The best year of my life
"This is the best year of my life," said Sasha.
"New Year's night, we were able to stay up for as long as we wanted to, and this year's my mother came to visit."
Summer camp
Every year the Friend’s house makes a summer holiday trip to Crimea or the Carpathian mountains. The trip is usually two or three weeks and is a good opportunity for the children to get away, swim, rest and enjoy summer activities.
Your help is needed. We will also this year to arrange for children the summer holiday at the seaside. All help is welcome.
